Founded in the 1970s as a photo studio in Hanover, Germany, we were fascinated early on by the advent of digital photography. While our analogue photos were stored neatly labelled on shelves in the basement, we soon reached our limits when it came to managing digital media. The solution: our first self-programmed image database.

With our new expertise, we found a gap in the market – because many of our clients were facing the same challenges of digitization. For more than 15 years we were able to develop individual database solutions for renowned companies such as ITT Automotive from Detroit, Deutsche Messe AG, Konica Minolta and VARTA.

In order to be able to serve the constantly high demand more efficiently with a standard software, the next step followed in 2010: our ImagePlant image database software – the synergy of one and a half decades of database programming, modern web design and practical exchange with our clients. Since then, we have continued to develop ImagePlant in order to be able to offer sophisticated solutions for media management tomorrow as well.
